What can even be said?
One of the greatest bands of recent years, this album has been unavailable for a while and MUST be heard in full quality. £470 on Amazon?
A rather brilliant concept album which, from the opening track, may seem to be somewhat Luciferian, but upon listening to the bigger statement a bigger picture is revealed.
A must hear for fans of any heavy, weird or progressive music. The production is not quite as crunchy as the debut but works perfectly. The first and third albums can (and should) be bought via The End Records but who knows if this Mimicry release will be reissued?
The band is finding a kind of continuation as Free Salamander Exhibit, but this new band is minus the talents of Carla Kihlstedt.
If you don't know these guys then you are in for a treat but it is perhaps best to hear the first album before this and digest it all a piece at a time.
